Kia Maia is a large, two-storied wooden Villa that is a “home away from home” for
International Students who have come to study in Wellington, New Zealand.

Kia Maia Hostel is situated on The Terrace, in Central Wellington, within easy walking distance of Victoria University, Kelburn and Pipitea Campuses, Massey University, WELTEC and Le Cordon Bleu Cookery School. We are very handy to the many cafes, shops, libraries, galleries and outdoor recreation spaces which this picturesque city has to offer. We offer a relaxed, friendly, family-style accommodation for international students.

Our residents are a mix of first year and returning  students. With only 12-15 residents, you will be a significant member of our community, where you can work to achieve your goals.

As a member of the Kia Maia community, you will come to know all the other residents personally. Caring for one another is a central part of the Kia Maia way of life.
